Outreach & Evangelism
 

Mission 

Our mission goal is to visibly demonstrate that the church is not a building, it is people. Our goal is not to build a church, but to transform the community, by reaching out to people. Matthew 9:37-38 says, “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” We have answered the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus within our community.

Global Missions

The Place City of Miracles Cathedral is supportive of global mission initiatives and provides support as they are identified and approved by the church leadership.

Local Missions

In addition to ministering to those within our community our desire is to also reach the unchurched population within the community. This is the population who may never “come to church”; therefore, our outreach team is available and willing to “go to church” by taking the church to the homeless, elderly, and home bounded.

Local Outreach Ministry

Under the leadership of our pastor, our church provides volunteers to serve at an assigned local apartment community in our area. Through this outreach ministry we are able to fulfill our mission ministry goals, which include:

Engaging within the Community

Our desire is to not only establish a memorable community image of the church to the public, but to establish a strong, positive, and memorable image and presence within the community. Our church events are always open to the community.
